WALK START LOCATION : Outside Bathurst Subway, North of Bloor

WALK END LOCATION : Spadina and College (streetcars)

Journey with us through some of Toronto’s most dynamic neighbourhoods!

For this walk we will start with the Honest Ed’s/Mirvish Village Westbank development and the modernist Central Tech Art Centre then visit St. Stephen's in the Fields, where Rev Maggie Helwig reveals its history and social mission.

Moreover, we will wander north through Harbord Village to admire its Victorian and Edwardian architecture, and pause at the once vibrant Brunswick House.

Moving westward, we will pass Trinity St Paul's Church and the ancient Major Street erratic, heading towards Spadina and Bloor’s future skyscrapers.

Traveling south to Robert Street and Russell Street, each with its own historical significance, we will then observe Lord Lansdowne School’s unique midcentury architecture then explore the Daniels School of Architecture to note Amelia Earhart’s connection to the site.

Lastly, we will conclude at the Scott Mission, close to College and Spadina, gateway to Kensington Market and Chinatown’s culinary scene.
