Dive into Toronto's musical legacy with a visit to two towering murals on Yonge Street, a hub for record collectors across Southern Ontario and Upstate New York.

This walk will give you a chance to discover the roots of the Toronto sound at the former Club Bluenote, and experience the pivotal moment in rock history at Yonge and Dundas, where Bob Dylan reshaped the genre.

You'll also have the opportunity to:

  • Explore stories within the Friar's Music Museum
  • Unravel the vibrant past of the Mirvish Theatre
  • Learn about the history of the iconic Massey Hall
  • Witness the legendary CHUM Radio promotion at Yonge and Queen that brought all of downtown to a standstill in the '50s
  • Visit the the most shocking crime scene in Toronto's history - one that changed Yonge Street forever

Our journey will conclude at Nathan Phillips Square, famous for unforgettable concerts and one extraordinary show that never took the stage.
